PB music is an online music and music services reference, specialising in piano and theory tuition and musicians' injuries. Although all web users will benefit from the general advice on this website, teaching and other services will initially be available in the Melbourne metropolitan region. The aims of this website are:

1. To provide a database of piano and theory teachers, initially in the Melbourne metropolitan area. This area of the site will also include basic information about popular learning methods such as Yamaha and Kodaly, as well as brief biographies of the listed teachers in some cases.

2. To provide basic information regarding music exams. This section will also include a brief summary of the various examining bodies in Australia.

3. To guide first piano buyers and beginners through the process of purchasing or hiring a piano and provide advice about piano maintenance. Links will enable access to qualified and experienced piano tuners and repairers.

4. To launch a reference site for musicians with injuries and provide advice on prevention and management of common overuse problems.
